Processions and Stations of the Cross; peak season at the beaches. In Huatulco there are processions and the Day of the Samaritan Woman (Día de la Samaritana). Book in advance.

How often: During Holy Week.
Where: Puerto Escondido, Huatulco, Zipolite, Mazunte, Whole coast.
Cost: Free (lodging rises 30–80% according to one blog).
